On July 1, the Trump Organization and the senior CFO, Allen Weisselberg, was charged by the New York District Attorney for failing to pay taxes on the executives’ fringe benefits. Did Weisselberg really evade 1.7 million in taxes? Or was it a desperate act by the Democrats?
The Supreme Court ruled a 6-3 vote that Arizona’s set of voting policies did not violate federal law. This is a victory not only for Arizona, but also for Republican states currently engaged in election law reform. It means the Supreme Court may not buy Merrick Garlandβs challenge against Georgiaβs voting laws.
