Join us as we reveal the winning design from our @bphlfest Stop Asian Hate Cookie Experience & Contest!
Along with being led in a portrait making of the late social activist, author and philosopher, Grace Lee Boggs, by renowned cookie activist and artist, Ms.Jasmine Cho, contestants were commissioned to draw their best logo for the anti-asian hate movement using their delicious lemon recipe cookie as their canvas!
They were then given instructions to post their creations on their social media tag us and our partners, ( Getpotluckde) and the cookie that received the most likes by 11:59pm on Oct. 2nd would be the winner!
Nikki, a senior at Temple U. and native of Arlington VA pulled it out with 175 likes! She had some competition from some of the other cookie creations, but none got close to her number of likes!
So what does Nikki win? Well, the bragging rights that hers will be the featured anti-asian hate cookie sold exclusively at The Pastry Shop at Walnut Hill College!
Cookies will go on sale for just two weeks, starting Oct 12th, to Oct 21st! So start planning your trip to The Pastry Shop located at: 4207 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104
Please note that one dollar from every cookie sold will go to our feature nonprofit, @asianamericansunited to support their efforts to fight against Asian hate!
