Police in St. Louis are looking for three black males who attacked a white passenger after he told them he was too tired to answer any questions about Mike Brown’s shooting death by a cop in nearby Ferguson.
The assault took place on a MetroLink train Monday night, March 23. The assailants first asked the victim, who did not want to be identified, if they could borrow his phone. After he said no he was then asked about Mike Brown.
The part the victim found most disturbing is that nobody offered to help him while he was being punched repeatedly.
“I think it was disgusting that no one…that people were sort of laughing and smiling about it,” the 43-year old man told KMOV. “No one offered to help. No one attempted to call 911.”
Police have surveillance footage of the three men involved in the attack and are attempting to identify them.
