I wanted to first convey my feelings of sorrow and hurt towards the pains the Asian/Asian American community is feeling right now and also to start/comtinue an important discussion of the power of rhetoric and how that affects hate crimes and unity/solidarity. I would love to hear your thoughts- feel free to agree/disagree with me: all is fine as long as it is respectful/constructive. The most important thing in my mind is not agreement but discussion and true change that will hopefully arise from that. (discussion into action)
